I know that the very last thing to say to you is "I understand", because you and I both know better that I do not.

It's such a tough time, for you on more levels than I, but I hope you are aware that I am here if you ever do need me. Not because I thrive on the needy like once accused, but because I put you on a plane so different to others, because I cherish you for everything that you are - imperfect yet amazing.

Because I care.

For better or worse, at least I can take consolation in the fact that life works in phases; this is not the happiest of them but soon enough we will write new chapters.. and they will be different.

Hang tight.
