The ricochet.

We gained an hour when daylight savings ended yesterday; went to breakfast at this amazing bakery Sourdough in the Brunswick side of Lygon St, Rosemary, Kate and I. Beautiful food and hot chocolate, great catch ups.. and we all came away feeling charged up for the day.

I managed to have my Theories manifesto outlined by last night, after which my productivity downspiralled. Multiple conversations followed, sandwiched by a visit from Wen and Yun- it was a great Sunday and to answer a question posed by one who will never tread these pages.. yes I enjoyed it.

Who wouldn't? Especially since Saturday was such a mind-numbing, very inspiring 9-6 session at the RAIA Victorian Awards Presentation to Juries, featuring the starchitects of Howard Raggatt, John Denton, John Wardle, Kerstin Thompson.. and reps from Woods Bagot, McBride Charles Ryan, BKK Architects among many others.. although Jane and my favourites were the NGV Shop project designed by Tandem and the Treehouse by Jackson Clements Burrows. Although that said, what triumphed for me, was the way PHOOEY Architects' rep/ owner (?) spoke- with such booming confidence and conviction..

..and that is something I aspire to.
