Grey.
Often a time when describing how this semester has been for me, I use the word awakening. Because that's what uni has on countless occassions, proven to be. A series of life events all lined up, waiting to happen, to enrich people and to teach lessons you couldn't take away from anywhere else.. well that is, from my point of view.

There isn't much to say as of now, but this time around I have been taken by surprise by the latest twist in mine.

Awakening it has been, on so many levels.

And can I just say, there's nothing like having something to happen to you to help you understand that words of comfort and consolation can only do so much. That it can be funny to joke about something, but when it finally happens to you.. you suddenly forget how to laugh. It is much easier said than done.

It's just not the same being on the other side of the equation, and when it first happens.. you just don't know what to do.

That, even, is something so new.
Not knowing.
