Broken china.
I I just got back from supper at Notturno on Lygon with Mei Sze and Steph Kwong, a great time out if I dare say so myself. Easter break has resulted in a mere 45 students left boarding here at Ormond so it does get peacefully quiet, a rarity in the previous six weeks!

From where I left off in my last post.. last Sunday, April 1st, I visited the Arts Centre Craft Market for the first time in years. Great photography above all else; had a dimsum lunch with the Architecture girls and Mei Sze at Sharksfin House, a sumptuous change from greasy brunches here at Ormond. Shopped a bit before going out to dinner followed by Easter Service at the college chapel.. had a good chat to the Picken A3 people before bedtime.

The week was a terribly punishing one, and the cough did not help. Monday we had a talk by Prof Kim Dovey, Head of Architecture in the faculty, informing us of the changes that were taking place as the Melbourne Model takes off come '08. Tuesday I met up with 2 Ee and husband along with Ee Lin and family for dinner down Sydney Road. Alasya's is an amazing place to have Turkish food! Wednesday I joined Jian Ming, Mei Sze and Sarah for dinner at Vina Bar after a good CT2A tute with David.. but stayed up for a bit trying to finish up presentation material for Arch Design 2A..

I had the longest of tutes that Thursday before uni broke off for these mid-semesters.. it went from 2-6.15pm. Joined Zheng Xi for dinner at A1 in the evening, both of us terribly worn out. It was the party for Janice's 21st last night at Graduate House. Went to that- themed dressing, pizza and good drinks!

Today has been the ultimate bumming day. Went to lunch, bummed around for a bit then slept in Rachel's room for a span in the afternoon before ditching dinner for a warm Milo. Nothing accomplished except rest which is a really, really good thing.. something I have been deprived of in a long while.

Poking around the shared iTunes libraries in Ormond, I've started to listen to Enya in recent days and I find it strangely soothing..

With friendships, particularly the newer ones, I think we're still at the stage where we're discovering things about each other, pacing cautiously for fear of unearthed mines.. there's still so much left to see and learn.

The Easter bunny will be visiting soon! (:
