It's been awhile.

It was the most awesome feeling this morning, waking up without needing to worry about anything at all.. I wasn't even annoyed that the JCH girls were being ridiculously inconsiderate with their music blasting across the whole crescent!

Went down to the Spencer St DFO today, was only victorious with one summer-ish print dress. Had a simple yummy lunch, came back and rested in the afternoon.. then spontaneously decided to watch Notes on a Scandal at Cinema Nova after dinner (which posed a major scare- I had thought we were doomed to yet another BBQ). Tickets were $7.50 because it is Monday. I really, really, really enjoyed this show.. extremely compelling and vivid, brinking on scary it prides superb acting by Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett detailing a story of friendship, betrayal and adultery. A film rated 10/10 by some!

Two random thoughts:
I think the worst sort of betrayal I can imagine in my line would be ripping of ideas and claiming them as your own.

The other day something happened that reinstated my faith in mankind today- Rachel left her mobile behind at a QV table.. only to realise an hour later that it was missing. We rung the number and a lady picked up- she and her husband had waited at the very spot they found the phone for the whole time until we returned..

Okay make that three:
Friendship is like a violin, the music may stop now and then, but the strings will last forever..

I truly love that quote. Not yet sure what the week has in store but I'm excited!
