And off we go.

That was quick.

Since crossing the 2007 mark, life has been pretty busy. After the drama at the Pudu Raya- Kota Raya area, we had dinner at Hartamas, the regular few families, this time Alex's treat..

We brought Jess and her mum to Mum's Place on Tuesday evening after having spent the morning grocery shopping at TESCO to sample some Malaysian/ fusion fare. It seemed like we had over-ordered but after that many dishes we even had room for dessert! It was one of the best meals I have had in awhile- really good conversation, a good blend of intellectual and humorous- and it served to remind me of the good old days at CTSS 2004 and inspire me to look ahead and continuously strive to achieve me goals in life..

The night didn't quite end there; Adrian came by while Jess was visiting (and promptly picked up a really unique souvenir) so he came along with us in the car to drop them off at the hotel. Afterward we took my car out and after a series of unfortunate wrong turns managed to wind up at Min Ching's place to drop something off, Yew Jhin's to pick him up and then at Telawi to join Jian, Mei Sze and Sarah. On the way back we spontaneously dropped by my primary school in Brickfields for a round of reminiscing.. went driving around the Sri Perdana- Bukit Damansara area since there was a willing guide.. finally retired at home after a good round of heart to heart..

Purchased Aeroline tickets before going to pick Jess and her mum for a hotel transfer.. checked them in, sat and talked for a bit before I joined Nadia, Shobie, Nishi, Tasha and later, Mrs N, for lunch. Bummed around a bit with Nishi before heading home for a quick cat nap; attended Sim's surprise farewell at The Curve and hung out at Ka's friend's, Ee Lynn's house for a short while before coming home..

Today I went to HELP. Ah, the memories..
Collected my GCE A-Levels results certificate and put in a form to redeem my security deposit. Met Amy, Jess and Lindsey at One Utama. We had a really good lunch at Dragon-i and then proceeded for an afternoon of pampering ourselves at The Nail Parlour. Rushed off to meet a family friend's friend, a soon-to-be Melbourne University Architecture undergraduate.. followed by a family dinner, what would be the last in awhile..

All packed up, and it's time to go.. see you soon.

All emo things aside, it has been a really relaxing, enlightening and uplifting break.. a much appreciated one at that. More about that in the next entry.
