Running out.

Just got back not long ago from Min Ching's. Hanaa, her and I had dinner together, rekindling memories of how our HELP days used to be, realising how quickly time has passed; two years along we're at the start of university life, not long to go until we join the rat race. It turned out to be a really enjoyable evening..

Had the best assam curry fish dish (with an extremely decent price tag) at Kluang Station at 1 Utama with mum today. It was a peak lunch hour when we went but it was well worth the wait.. they have a nasi lemak dish that's good enough to rival Madam Kwan's for a much more affordable price, too..

Sometime last week I authorised someone to snip off three inches of my hair and followed that up by relaxing it.. not particularly pleased with either decision but I guess it's something I have to live with for a while..

And in the same line of grouses.. I got an invoice requesting $200 for something I had already written a cheque for; what irks me is the fact that the cheque has cleared..

I'm excited about next year.. more people are coming to Melbourne- Ai Leen, Min Ching, Shobana and more others- and it's going to be a lot of fun. Workload-wise, as excited as I may be, it is going to be heavy.. but most times it is your company of friends that give you the energy to push on..

These holidays are ticking away.. and it saddens me in some ways. There seems to be a billion things that I haven't yet accomplished, people whom I still have yet to meet.. places I want to go and the like. Christmas is 3 days away! Maybe it's time to finish the little Christmas shopping that I do annually.. Before I go, however, there are still loose ends to tie up, a room to unpack my belongings into..

And in fourteen sleeps, I will be off. Again.
