Beautiful imperfection.

Not even long until I board the plane back to where I spent countless sleepless nights slaving away on what finally materialised to be a pretty damn good first semester of uni.

The holidays are now half gone, it's gone by so quickly yet there hasn't been anything in particular that I have gotten accomplished. Buried my nose in two romance novels by Danielle Steel and Judith McNaught and it reminded me of how I used to enjoy reading as a child.. it's a pity how nowadays I don't/ can't quite make time for it anymore..

I've been doing so much thinking lately; with the year slipping away I'm not sure if I'm going to make it in time for a proper commemorative entry. It has by far been the craziest, most eventful year of years.. sat for three major exams that mattered, finishing one course and jumping right onto the next and luckily, I didn't trip and fall. Met so many new people, gathered so many new experiences and above all.. I think I grew up. A lot.

My goal for the next week is to compile a list of people who have greatly affected me, interlaced with the memories that made an impact on me..

One thing that stands out from the three weeks here is the quality of catch up sessions I have had with people.. online or in real life.. the frankness and depth of some have left me reeling with emotion. Perhaps it's the holiday season and everyone's less choked with work and stress; it's just the perfect time of year for renewing old friendships..

Only a week to Christmas! Finally it feels right- festive and holiday-like.. I can't wait.

It's been such a good year.
